Sacred Circles

This ongoing series, Sacred Circles, is a praise song to the birds who buoyed up my spirits through the long winter months. They were the only color and movement in the frozen landscape. The figures speak of the connection between humans and the natural world. They explore our spiritual relationships with birds — long thought of as messengers from the gods, the manifestations of our souls, and the sweet song of joy.
